The Pulmonologists at Lankenau Hospital have specialized training and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disorders, care of critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Units and diagnosis and treatment of patients with various types of sleep disorders.

Common problems prompting referral to pulmonologists are asthma, emphysema, pneumonia, lung cancer and sleep apnea. Specialized programs directed by the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine include the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program for patients with chronic lung disease, the fully-accredited Sleep Medicine Services, the Lung Cancer Center and a Respiratory Care Unit which cares for patients requiring prolonged ventilatory support.

Physicians have board certification, faculty appointments, and many years of broadly-based and specialized experience in treating patients.
