Departments & Divisions Cardiovascular Diseases As part of the Main Line Health Heart Center, the cardiologists at Lankenau Hospital provide a wide range of innovative treatments and management of patients with heart
disease through one of the largest cardiovascular programs in the Delaware Valley. In addition, proven medical management
techniques, cardiac catheterization, angioplasty-including the latest laser angioplasty techniques-electrophysiology, cardiac
ablations, pacemakers and defibrillators, tilt testing, a full range of non-invasive diagnostic cardiac tests, and a cardiac
rehabilitation program are offered.
Various vascular diagnostic studies are provided by cardiologists as well as vascular specialists and interventional radiologists to evaluate the condition of the peripheral arteries of the neck, arms and legs. Many of the cardiologists on staff are active in the field of cardiovascular research and contribute regularly to the literature in their field. Members of the Division of Cardiovascular Diseases participate in the education of medical residents, cardiovascular fellows and practicing internists and cardiologists.
