There are many issues involved with breast health that can leave women unsure about how to proceed with their care. At The Lankenau Hospital Breast Care Center, we offer the services of a Breast Care Nurse Coordinator to address concerns.

Whether you have questions about digital mammography, what your test results mean, or what the next step in your care should be, Cathy will be able to assist and guide you through the treatment process.

For those patients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, Cathy can personally assist you during this difficult time. She provides patients with:

• Assistance scheduling specialist appointments
• Assistance communicating your concerns to your healthcare team and family
• Answers to your questions about your treatment plan
• Referrals to and information about hospital-based and community support groups and services
• Access to information, publications books and video on a variety of topics related to breast health and breast cancer
• Resourceful information about wigs, prostheses, classes and support groups
