The Gynecologic Oncology Program at the Lankenau Hospital Cancer Center offers exceptional care for women with ovarian, uterine, cervical, vaginal and vulvar malignancies as well as trophoblastic disease. Our comprehensive approach includes diagnostic evaluation, surgical and medical therapies, with expertise in minimally-invasive and laparoscopic surgery as well as innovative chemotherapy. The treatment team consists of two gynecologic oncologists and a nurse practitioner. We offer women in the Philadelphia area and from across the nation a coordinated plan of cancer care including risk assessment and genetic testing. Our program participates with the Gynecologic Oncology Group, a national cooperative treatment group supported by the National Institutes of Health to provide patients with clinical research studies.
