The Gerhard Society

C:\Documents and Settings\culbek\Desktop\Gerhard MS\GerhardLogo_200.gifThe Gerhard Society is a premier philanthropic society on the Main Line composed of supporters who view Bryn Mawr Hospital as integral to the health of our community and who are committed to cultivating an enduring hospital and community partnership.

Created in 1979 to recognize and honor individuals, corporations and foundations who annually contribute $1,000 or more to Bryn Mawr Hospital, the Gerhard Society has grown to become one of Bryn Mawr Hospital’s most important constituencies of supporters.

There are more than 400 current members of the Gerhard Society. These dedicated community supporters, physician leaders, staff and volunteers are distributed among the following levels:

Advocates  $1,000
Patrons  $2,500
Pacesetters  $5,000
Founders  $10,000
Community Partners  $25,000

In recognition of their leadership support of Bryn Mawr Hospital, members of the Gerhard Society enjoy a number of benefits, including preferred access to health information and education resources, such as facility tours and physician lectures; special invitations to “meet our doctors” events in the Hospital or in private homes; inpatient amenities if hospitalized; Devon Horse Show tickets; special recognition in our Annual Report; and more.
