Dr. Maribel Hernandez receives award from Womenheart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease
Dr. Maribel Hernandez, medical director of Lankenau Heart Institute's Women's Heart Initiative, is being honored by WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease as the recipient of the 2024 Wenger Award for Excellence in Clinical Practice. The electrophysiologist will be awarded the prize on June 10 in Washington at a commemoration of WomenHeart’s 25th anniversary. Dr. Hernandez is a member of one of the largest female cardiology teams in the region.
Dr. Michael Becker honored by American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians
Dr. Michael Becker, Lankenau Medical Center's campus chief of family medicine, received the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians Educator of the Year Award at the Family Medicine Specialty convention in New Orleans. The organization honors in-practice physicians who make exemplary contributions to the field of osteopathic medicine each year.
Scott Giacomucci, Mirmont Treatment Center’s director of trauma services, receives honor
Scott Giacomucci, director of trauma services at Mirmont Treatment Center, has received the 2024 Innovator's Award from the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama. The honor was handed out at the society's 82nd annual conference in Los Angeles earlier this month.
